May 10, 2018 BANK BULLETIN NO. 14-18 TO : All Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Number of Copies of Tax Returns to be Received by Authorized Agent Banks under the Jurisdiction of Revenue Region Nos. 2-CAR; 5-Caloocan City; 7-Quezon City; 9A-CABAMIRO and 9B-LAQUEMAR In view of the revision of some of the procedures in the processing of tax returns, certain policies prescribed under Bank Bulletin No. 2014-08, particularly on the receipt and stamping of only two (2) copies of tax returns by Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) under the physical jurisdiction of Revenue Region (RR) No. 2-Cordillera Administrative Region, RR No. 5-Caloocan City, RR No. 7-Quezon City and RR No. 9A-CABAMIRO and 9B-LAQUEMAR, have to be revised. aDSIHc In this regard, all AABs under the aforesaid revenue regions are hereby advised to receive and stamp three (3) copies of any kind of tax return, where the original and duplicate copies shall be retrieved by the concerned BIR Office from the AAB, and the triplicate copy shall be for the taxpayer's copy. Other AABs not earlier affected by Bank Bulletin No. 2014-08 which inadvertently accepted only two (2) copies of tax returns are hereby directed to stop the said practice, and follow the existing prescribed policy of accepting three (3) copies of tax returns.
