April 21, 2016 BANK BULLETIN NO. 14-16 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : ABN Amro Bank, N.V.-Offshore Banking Unit (ABNAM-OBU) Effective immediately, all Authorized Agent Banks are hereby advised not to accept ABN AMRO BANK, N.V.-OFFSHORE BANKING UNIT (ABNAM-OBU) checks, as well as taxpayers' checks drawn from the said Bank, in payment of internal revenue taxes. This advisory is in view of the letter from Mr. Nestor A. Espenilla, Jr. , Deputy Governor, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) dated March 18, 2016 informing the Bureau of Internal Revenue the cessation of operations of ABN AMRO BANK, N.V.-OFFSHORE BANKING UNIT (ABNAM-OBU) with office address at 18th Floor, LKG Tower 6801 Ayala Avenue, Makati City under Monetary Board Resolution No. 411 dated March 3, 2016.
