Acceptance of Tax Payments for All Taxpayers under the Jurisdiction of National Capital Region, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal

August 5, 2020 BANK BULLETIN NO. 11-20 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Acceptance of Tax Payments for All Taxpayers under the Jurisdiction of National Capital Region, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal Due to the declaration of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine in National Capital Region (NCR), Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal for the period August 4, 2020 to August 18, 2020, all Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) shall: 1. Accept all tax payments from taxpayers registered under Revenue District Office Nos. 24 to 34, 38 to 54B, even out-of-district returns . a. Batch the out-of-district returns separately; and b. Encode the tax payment data using the Limited Bank Data Entry System (LBDES)/Bank System indicating the Revenue District Office (RDO) of the accepting AAB branch in the required field of the LBDES/Bank system and NOT the RDO Number of the taxpayer. 2. Accept over-the-counter filing of returns and payment of taxes due thereon by eFPS filers who encountered problem in paying through eFPS, taxpayer may present printed copy of the pop-up message screenshot as proof of unsuccessful eFiling and/or copy of efiled returns. 3. Accept check payments from any taxpayer even without the name of receiving AAB branch indicated in the check during MECQ period. Provided that all check tax payment shall be made payable to Bureau of Internal Revenue. This bank bulletin shall take effect immediately until MECQ has been lifted and placed National Capital Region (NCR), Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
