Over-the-Counter Acceptance of Certain Tax Returns/Payments of Internal Revenue Taxes Due to the Unavailability of the eFPS

April 25, 2018 BANK BULLETIN NO. 09-18 TO : All Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Over-the-Counter Acceptance of Certain Tax Returns/Payments of Internal Revenue Taxes Due to the Unavailability of the eFPS With regards to the unavailability of the Bureau's electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) due to certain technical problems, all eFPS taxpayers have been instructed to file their tax returns using the eBIRForms facility and to pay the corresponding taxes "over-the-counter" with their respective Authorized Agent Banks (AABs). Accordingly, all AABs are hereby advised to accept "over-the-counter" payments for all taxes being paid through the eFPS which deadlines fall on April 25, 2018 without corresponding penalties for late filing until such time that an advisory shall have been issued declaring the restoration of the eFPS.
