January 11, 2012 BANK BULLETIN NO. 02-12 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Rural Bank of Calubian (Leyte), Inc. Effective immediately, all Authorized Agent Banks are hereby advised not to accept RURAL BANK OF CALUBIAN (LEYTE), INC. checks, as well as taxpayers' checks drawn from the said Bank, in payment of internal revenue taxes. This advisory is in view of the letter of Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) dated December 15, 2011 informing the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the issuance of Monetary Board Resolution No. 1850 dated December 15, 2011 which prohibited RURAL BANK OF CALUBIAN (LEYTE), INC. , with Office address at Sta. Filomena St., Brgy. Espinosa, Calubian, Leyte from doing business in the Philippines and placed the same under receivership with the PDIC as the designated Receiver.
