January 16, 2014 BANK BULLETIN NO. 01-14 TO : All BIR Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Silangan Savings and Loan Bank, Inc. Effective immediately, all Authorized Agent Banks are hereby advised not to accept SILANGAN SAVINGS AND LOAN BANK, INC. checks, as well as taxpayers' checks drawn from the said Bank, in payment of internal revenue taxes. This advisory is in view of the letter of Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) dated January 10, 2014 informing the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the issuance of Monetary Board Resolution No. 36-A dated January 9, 2014 which prohibited SILANGAN SAVINGS AND LOAN BANK, INC. with Office address at J.P. Rizal St., Silang, Cavite from doing business in the Philippines and placed the same under receivership with the PDIC as the designated Receiver. HEITAD For your guidance and strict compliance.
