Cario BAGUIO CITY TAX ORDINANCE NO. 002-14 AMENDING SUBSECTIONS (c), (d), (e), (g), (j), AND (l) OF SECTION 23 (SECRETARY'S FEES) OF TAX ORDINANCE NUMBERED 2000-001 [AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING A SET OF RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE ADMINISTRATION, APPRAISAL, ASSESSMENT, LEVY AND COLLECTION OF REALTY TAXES, BUSINESS TAXES, PERMIT FEES, BUILDING AND LOT RENTALS IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO AND SUCH OTHER FEES AND CHARGES THEREFOR PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991] Explanatory Note There is a need to increase the fees for copies of official records and documents from any of the offices in the City Government of Baguio. As compared to nearby municipalities, the fees imposed by the city are lower because they are outdated and they do not conform to the prevailing or current time. DETACa NOW, THEREFORE, upon recommendation of the City Vice-Mayor and Presiding Officer, Hon. Bilog, and on motion of Hon. Olowan and Hon. Fianza, and Hon. Tabanda, seconded by Hon. Ortega and Hon. Alangsab, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD (City Council) IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT: HEITAD SECTION 1. Subsections (c), (d), (e), (g), (j), and (l) of Section 23, Chapter VI, of Tax Ordinance Numbered 2000-001, are hereby amended to read as follows: "CHAPTER VI Service Fees "SECTION 23. Secretary's Fees . "Imposition of Fees Every person requesting for copies of official records and documents from any of the offices of the City of Baguio shall pay the following fees: "(a) For every page or fraction thereof, type P15.00 written (not including the certificate and any notation) "(b) Where the copy to be furnished is in printed form, P15.00 in whole or in part, for each page, (double this fee if there are two pages in a sheet) "(c) For each certificate of correctness (with the seal P50.00 of office) written on the copy or attached thereto "(d) For certifying the official act of a municipal judge P50.00 or other certificate (judicial),with seal "(e) For certified copies of any paper, record, decree judgment or entry of which any person is entitled to demand and receive a copy (in connection with judicial proceedings) for each page P50.00 "(f) Photocopy, per page P15.00 "(g) Clearance/Certifications issued by other City P50.00 Officials for every page of fraction thereof "(h) Other document not herein specified P15.00 "(i) For each additional copy of any of the above P5.00 documents "(j) Verification of assessment records P50.00 "(k) White/blue printing of tax maps or other plans: A2 Paper P30.00 A1 Paper P50.00 "(l) Research Fee P100.00 " SECTION 2.
