An Ordinance Amending Section 6h.01, Article G, Ordinance No. 25, Series of 2005

October 12, 2016 BAGO CITY ORDINANCE NO. 013-16 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6H.01, ARTICLE G, ORDINANCE NO. 25, SERIES OF 2005, "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE LOCAL REVENUE CODE OF BAGO CITY OF 2006, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE REVENUE CODE OF THE CITY OF BAGO" WHEREAS , Section 6H.01, Article G, Ordinance No. 25 refers to the Rental of City Cemetery Lots located at Bago City; WHEREAS , the said section provides rental selling rates for Level I, Level II, Level III, and Level IV of said cemetery; WHEREAS , there are now bone-niche structures provided for bones of deceased relatives; NOW, THEREFORE , on motion of SP Member Allan C. Galunan, unanimously seconded by SP Members present, be it ordained, by the Sanggunian Panlungsod of Bago City in session assembled amending Section 6H.01, Article G of Ordinance No. 25, Series of 2005, "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE LOCAL REVENUE CODE OF BAGO CITY OF 2006, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE REVENUE CODE OF THE CITY OF BAGO." DHESca SECTION 1. Amendatory Clause . This is to amend Section 6H.01, Article G, Ordinance No. 25, Series of 2005 to read as follows: a. Imposition of Fees. Prescribe rental selling rates: d) For Level I a 50% or P450.00 increase from the old rate of P900.00 (P150/yr. x 6) shall be charged, or a total of P1,350.00 for the rental of a niche over the same period of time. e) For Level II an increase of 50% or P200.00 from the old rate of P400.00 for the purchase of a 1.5 x 2.5 sq. m. burial lot or a total of P600.00 equivalent to P160.00 per sq. m. f) For Level III a selling price of P18,000.00 per lot consisting of thirty-six (36) square meters shall be prescribed. g) For Level IV Burial plots of 1.5 x 2.5 sq. m. at the left of Level IV of the public cemetery shall be sold to Six Hundred Pesos (P600.00), Philippine Currency, per plot. The right wing thereof shall remain free of charge for the exclusive use of veterans, city officials and the marginalized sector or society. h) Bone-niche structures selling price of P2,000.00/unit measuring at 0.6 x 0.6 x 1 meter. SECTION 2. Repealing Clause . All ordinances, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, provisions of which are in conflict with, or contrary to, the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, amended, or modified accordingly. SECTION 3. Effectivity Clause . This Ordinance shall take effect 15 days after the publication in the newspaper of general circulation. Enacted, October 12, 2016.
