A Resolution Authorizing the Municipal Government of Bacoor, Cavite to Enroll in the EFPS of the BIR in Compliance with EO 398

November 8, 2005 BACOOR MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 021-05 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF BACOOR, CAVITE TO ENROLL IN THE ELECTRONIC FILING AND PAYMENT SYSTEM (EFPS) OF THE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE (BIR) IN COMPLIANCE WITH EXECUTIVE ORDER 398 Introduced by: Hon. Hubert V. Gervacio WHEREAS, a new tax measure is being imposed by law as a fast and systematic method to undertake the remittance of withholding taxes and other payments to the BIR; WHEREAS, in order to effect such new tax measure, a resolution must be passed by the Municipal Council of Bacoor, Cavite to comply with the requirement of the BIR, for the enrollment of the Municipality of Bacoor to their Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS); WHEREAS, as another requirement from the Land Bank of the Philippines, before the municipality could be enrolled to the EFPS is to identify our authorized internet users for all official transactions concerning the municipality as approved by the Municipal Mayor and all Department Heads concerned; NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Hubert V. Gervacio, duly seconded by Hon. Avelino S. de Castro; RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, in a regular session assembled, to authorize the Municipal Government of Bacoor, Cavite to enroll in the Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS) of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to comply with Executive Order 398; BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, to approve the personnel as authorized users for the Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS), as follows: 1. Mariza M. Ramos Administrative Assistant II 2. Maribel M. Francisco Administrative Aide IV 3. Jocelyn D. Antonio Clerk RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), The Land Bank of the Philippines, Mayor's Office, Treasurer's Office, Budget Office, Accounting Office and others concerned for their guidance and information.
