Dagupan ALAMINOS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 002-06 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TAX DISCOUNT FOR ADVANCED PROMPT PAYMENT AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES Explanatory Note WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 251 of R.A. 7160, the Sangguniang Panlungsod may grant a tax discount to real property tax payer/s but not exceed twenty (20%) per cent of the annual tax due; CHTAIc WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City government to encourage taxpayer/s to make advanced prompt payment in order to avail of the tax incentive/discount provided hereunder; WHEREAS, if the basic real property tax and the additional tax accruing to the SEF are paid in full within the First Quarter, the taxpayer shall be entitled to a Discount of Fifteen (15%) per cent of the total tax due; WHEREAS, if the above-mentioned taxes are paid in full before January 1, the taxpayer/s shall be entitled to twenty (20%) per cent tax discount; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, That: SECTION I. Title. This ordinance shall be known as "TAX INCENTIVE ORDINANCE". SECTION II. Tax Discount. A fifteen (15%) per cent discount shall be granted to all taxpayer/s who pay their real property tax including the SEF in full within the First Quarter and a Twenty (20%) per cent discount if all the aforecited taxes are paid before January 1. SECTION III. The above mentioned discount shall only be granted to properties without any delinquency at the time of payment. SECTION IV. Effectivity.
