December 4, 1902 ACT NO. 551 AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION SIXTY-THREE OF ACT NUMBERED EIGHTY TWO, THE MUNICIPAL CODE, SO AS TO ENABLE THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS TO REDUCE THE ASSESSMENT ON ANY LAND WHICH HAS SUFFERED A PERMANENT LOSS IN ITS VALUE BY FLOOD, STORM, OR OTHER CASUALTY SECTION 1. Section sixty-three of Act Numbered Eighty-two, the Municipal Code, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "during the preceding year" in the next to the last line thereof and before the words "and for the addition to the list" in the same line, the following: "or whose land already assessed shall have suffered a permanent loss of value by reason of flood, storm, or other casualty during the preceding year." SECTION 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred. SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage. Enacted: December 4, 1902
