Temporary Suspension of Operations on Assessment and Collection of Land Tax in Laguna and Batangas

March 11, 1902 ACT NO. 375 AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF OPERATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION OF A LAND TAX IN THE PROVINCES OF LAGUNA AND BATANGAS SECTION 1. All operations in connection with the assessment and collection of a land tax in the Province of Laguna shall be suspended until civil government is established in that province. SECTION 2. All operations in connection with the assessment and collection of a land tax in the Province of Batangas shall be suspended until that province is restored to the executive control of the Civil Governor. SECTION 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
